Yup they let me wear it!

They made this awesome monstrosity too.

So I wore it as well. It was a bit big though.

Then there are the costumes, which this year were either Final Fantasy #, anime or Dr. Who

Neverwinter had a "live" RPG game thing going. You rolled giant dice vs. various monsters. Here we have a goblin/ orc?

Mocking the child that didn't roll high enough to beat him. HA! Take that kid!

Then there are the various models and model contests that make pretty pictures

The ice was lit-up, a nice touch

another Malifaux gang. The paper plate is a a great display board

the 2nd place diorama, Talos Heamonculus and a poor Guardsmen

the Talos has ripped his heart out and is presenting it to the Heamonculus. There is a rope of blood/ tissue that hangs from the heart and body. It was excellent, but 1st place it was not. It is too bad since this was a great piece.

The Land Shark pouncing won 1st and rightfully so. The scene and paint job were both excellent.

Then a few examples of why Malifaux is drawing me in...

The big 2nd floor display was a Drizzt and Guenhwyvar statue. It was done very well. As I said before I would have really loved this 8 years ago, when I still read these books. Still it was cool to look at.

So another year and another crop of photos to throw into the Gen Con album. I still have some more to sift through and put in my Gen Con album.
