A swift work boot to the knee, various elbows to the sides and back, and beaned twice by random flying beers, a prosthetic leg was removed, fisticuffs broke out and still got to within ten feet of the stage. It must have been a good show! We hit the Rock Allegiance Tour last night, well we went to see Volebeat and waste time with some other bands that were there.

The third nameless HQ is the sorcerer. This is the cheapest of the headquarter choices, but he holds the most potential. Well he does if you like the psyker aspect of the game.
The stats for this guy are nothing real special. He has a WS 5, BS, toughness, strength and initiative 4, attacks and wounds of 2, a leadership of 10 and 3+ save. He comes armed with a pistol, both grenades and a force weapon (of your choosing/modeling). He is an independent character, a level 1 psyker and has the Champion of Chaos rules. He is bargain basement priced at double 30 points. Also as a psyker he has access to the schools of Biomancy, Pyromancy, Telepathy or the Chaos pantheon to gain his mind powers (see previous posting).

Psykers, they’re all trash! That is my take on these guys. I guess I'm a witchhunter at heart. There is only one exception and that is a certain Astral Claw, but he isn’t really a psyker is he.
However, this edition they are all the rage, mostly if they can take the power that is akin to Eldar Fortune (or whatever they will soon have or had in the past). Having an ability to re-roll hits used to be unique, now it is super commonplace with all the psykers and allies running around. Chaos has always and will always have Librarians…I mean Sorcerers and Demons who can take magical warp powers.

The boy is here for a few weeks and it has been a time to reflect, learn share, grow and kill a ton of those filthy leg draggers!
We have had various games of Last Night on Earth and those are always fun, especially with more than two people. There is nothing like watching two people run the human characters and seeing their plans come to fruition, and then my zombies chew through them.
We have also busted out Zombicide. I grabbed this at Gencon last year and it was not played for some reason....until now!

Roland slumped against the cavern wall and let out a heavy sigh. He wiped the sweat from his brow and slowly took in the scene.
The poor patrons of the Wayward Inn lay about in various states of decay and dismemberment. The warrior was off retrieving proof of their work. She was probably going to have to remove his head to return as proof. That seemed a bit extreme, but necessary. It would be easier than dragging his corpse back as proof.

Possibly get my boy to demo Warmachine/Hordes. He has increased his interest in tabletop gaming. Either system can be played with minimal models. Thank you battle boxes!

With a dude at work getting me (or trying) into Warmachine a bit. I'm really wanting to see the diorama of the Buthcher and Asphyxious.
The Butcher is one of the Khador casters I like and I have painted and Asphyxious and he is one of my two Cryx favorite casters.
if the artwork is remotely close to the models, then this will look pretty tough. The Buthcher has armored Arguses or Argi. How bad ass is that?!

The pair had been following a narrow footpath for a few hours. This is the only way their prey could have gone. The road to the south was guarded. The western woods were too treacherous with all the recent goblin raids. The eastern road was only good until the river. Here the recent rains had made it impassable and even washed out the two bridges. It had to be north, but not by road. There were guards and scouting parties there too. It had to be this old fur trappers trial. That was the best and quickest route, next to the main road.

They also look re-god-damn-diculous!
What the frak are people thinking? If they are awesome then here begins the Dark Angel and Space Wolf crying. If they suck, well will anyone be suprised.
They are a new unit, and most new units are supposed to rock in game to increase sales. If they are the best unit ever I would never use them. They look awful!

Marvel has made some really fun movies as of late. The merry band of Avenger movies are all very entertaining. They have set an example of good comic book fun. However, what they have done to the mutant movies is a travesty. The Wolverine is another in a slew of bad X-Men movies, and that saddens me.
The Old Canukelhead became one of my favorite X-Men as I grew up reading them. Then he appeared on the big screen and Hugh Jackman did great job in the role. Then the X movies continued to flow, and get worse and worse.

This is the last unit before I dive into the HQ units. This is the final fast attack choice and it is quite a polarizing unit, the Heldrake.
This is the flyer for the Chaos Marines. It comes with BS 3 Armor 12/12/10 and 3 Hull Points. It is armed with a Hades Autocannon (36” S8 AP4 Heavy 4, Pinning). It has the ability to be a Flyer or Hover (skimmer rules that will never be used). It has the Demon, It Will Not Die, Demonforge and Meteoric Descent rules. This vehicle comes in at the maximum check-out possible in a standard game of darts in points, and for all the trouble it causes people I’m surprised it doesn’t cost more than that.
