Cream cheese is my second favorite Danish now!

A swift work boot to the knee, various elbows to the sides and back, and beaned twice by random flying beers, a prosthetic leg was removed, fisticuffs broke out and still got to within ten feet of the stage. It must have been a good show! We hit the Rock Allegiance Tour last night, well we went to see Volebeat and waste time with some other bands that were there.

We skipped Airborne and arrive to see the last song by All That Remains. We were not impressed by Him, even though they played that butterfly wing song that I knew. There was only one reason for us to be there and that was to see the best thing to come out of Denmark in gods know how long, Volebeat.

They put on a fantastic show! This was no muss or fuss show. They came out played there asses off and skipped the usual pomp that tends to irritate. You know talking, walking around, chest puffing and crowd pandering stuff that tends to irritate.

Besides all their own stellar music they busted out some Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire, Priest's Breaking the Law and teased with the sweet guitar rift from Slayer's Raining Blood. This was just more awesome for the proverbial sauce!

Hopefully, Volebeat will make the rounds again through this area sometime as they are a great band and put on an awesome show!

The only negative for the show is now a running theme of negatives for concerts. You people that have to hold your phone or pads up the entire show to film and take pics of it. Knock that shit off ! Here is a fun idea, just watch the show instead of proving to the interweb/twitterverse that you are doing something right now! Talk about it later. Why not just take it all in and make a damn memory. Is there nothing cooler than watching a concert you are at through the phone you are holding is there? I do appreciate when the occasional phone falls to the floor and laugh every time I see it happen. The only thing lamer than the holding of lighters and the ass hat yelling of "Freebird!" is this phone/tablet taping thing.
