Vaction pics

A short time away in the North Bend State park in West Virginia and it was very relaxing. There was hiking, too much food, tons of animals, great weather, gaming and a lot of quiet.

Look more boring nature pictures to view. Well maybe to some, for me it was more gaming inspiration. This is the forest primeval. It is full of all manner of creature and beast. It also worked as a great gear-up to play Hordes. The models were painted before the trip and they made it to the table a few times out there.

This time of year at the park is awesome. The air is crisp and has a smell of campfire mixed with leaves and rich loamy earth.

A very Fraggle or Dark Crystal-ish rock formation. It looked like it would talk or sing at any moment

This was one of a pair of deer that followed us for about two hundred yards. They were really curious, and that might eventually be a bad thing for them.

Water  fowl that was kind enough to pose

The dried creek bed and the hillside surrounding it got me in the right frame of mind to crack out my Circle Orboros Druids. I could see a of a few Argus running through here, or a Warpwolf  crashing through the brush.

Could see Trollbloods bellowing atop this rock formation.

Then charging down this hill.

Yeah we needed to play some Hordes after all this. It was the perfect environment to set the mood.

Sunday morning this girl was interested in our pumpkin carving, or perhaps a few peanuts that fell off the deck. It was way too friendly, but it made for a great experience.
