Dispatch Physician Advantageous

Kill Doctor Lucky is a game I have wanted to try for some time. Well I finally got the chance and...............

Well it was alright. The game centers on a group of people in a manor house trying to kill off the befuddled old curmudgeon Doctor Lucky. The game play is screw the other guy as you try and off the old geezer. All this seems right up my alley.

The game play is simple and it is easy to pickup and play. You grab a game piece with whatever character you find visually pleasing and draw some cards. Then Doctor Lucky is placed in a room on the manor house board and the game begins. The old doc moves from room to room and you try and catch him alone to assassinate him. This is where it gets tricky. If any other player can draw line of sight to you, then you can not try to kill this guy. You also need a sturdy weapon. This requires drawing cards when in rooms. Once you have a weapon and are alone with the doc, you can then try to kill him. This is where the screw your buddy comes into play. Every player must try to stop you if they can. This is done by using weapon cards. These lower the chance to kill the good doctor using whatever weapon card you have. Then there is the ability to move the doctor to different rooms and keep him away from players.

This is a descent game but it really needs more than the minimum players. This is for 3-7 people and I'm thinking 4+ people would make for a much more fun game. The premise is great, the learning curve is simple and I really enjoy a game where foiling the plans of other players is as fun as (if not more fun) than winning.
