Gen Con 2012 part 2

Some random floor pics that we took Saturday. It was mostly a Dr. Who dress up year as one could thorw a stick on the convention floor and hit some version of Matt Smith (with fez, cowboy hat or without). There was also a ton of female versions of Dr. Who. It seems the "youth" have really picked up on the 11th Doctor.
Anyhoo, on to the photos!

Balloon Dragon's breath weapon is.....just a bunch of hot air! That was frakin' horrible

Bobba Fett in sweat pants? Suddenly he is nowhere near cool or intimidating.
Moments after this, Red Skull adorned some specks. That would have been the better picture.

The 1st Haruhara Haruko I have ever seen. Lord Canti was here last year so it is good to see FLCL getting some love still.

Fantastic Drider statue

Q!
Probably my favorite costume, just becasue I have never seen anyone go as him.

Soda Pop minatures girl better known as Hootie McBoob

Klingon band playing songs by Deep Purple. A truly sureal moment.

Remote controlled Dalek costume with great articulation and voice work. This thing was hand made and they did an awesome job.

Manders and human Dalek. This chick was great to talk to and super friendly, especially for a kill crazy alien.

The actual voice of the Daleks and Cybermen, Nicholas Briggs. Was cool to talk with him and even better that he greeted and said good bye to us in the famous Dalek voice.
I was hoping for some Judoon or Cybermen as he does those voices too nad I loves me some Judoon!

Some random dames posing for people in front of an Ironclad

A great Joker and his goons. He had a great Heath Ledger impression going. Like the commitment to the costume.
Mad props for the Lil Sister. A favorite from Bioshock. Now if only  she refered to people as Mr. Bubbles!

Wooike on stilts for some reason.

At a giant minature display a sign saying there are now giant wooden badgers available. I had no idea they were in demand.

Sadly there were only nerds to hunt here. No vampires were to be found. Better luck next year Mr. President.
