A new Herald of Khorne

Skulltaker my be the most lauded and feared of the Heralds of Khorne, be he is far from the  only one.

There is a creature that follows the blood god and leaves death and destruction in his wake. He is known to not only take the head of his opponents, but he will also remove flesh, bone, claws and fangs to wear as trophies.

He once dispatched a heavily armored Tyranid beast with a torn piece of it's own chitin. He beat and shattered a towering Eldar Wraith construct with it's own arm. He has since fashioned a wickedly dead axe from these to items. This axe stays ever sharp and seems to have an unquenchable thirst for battle, much like the wielder.

He stalks the battlefield looking for anyone brave or foolhardy enough to face him. He lays low champions and cowards alike. He wears the skins of the wronged and the just. He is known as "Skinner" and the "The Red Flayer" to his enemies. To the followers of Khorne his name is chanted before battle in hopes he will tear through reality to fight alongside them. He is Kharg’Thax the Flayer and he has come for you!

A very simple conversion to the savage ork boss. I threw on some horns to fit the Khorne theme of Bloodletters and horns. A Bloodletter tongue was added to also time him in with his fellow slayers. I removed the ears to help pull the ork look off him too. The cloth on him was turned to torn flesh. I also threw an Inquisitorial shoulder pad on him to show that he has even killed a prominent Grey Knight. Even added a bit of choppy battle damage to the pauldron that was caused by his axe.

I love the motion of this model and thought it would make a great Khorne Herald conversion. I think it does. He also looks great in my units of Bloodletters.
