Another good weekend!

Saturday

Checked out the gaming convention in Bloomington. Saw and talked with some old gaming acquaintances. Watched some interesting games and saw some crazy tactics in the 40K doubles tournament. I'll get pic up soon.

Suck it Oakies!

Saw Notre Dame drop 30 on Oklahoma in their win. Nothing better than a 12 point underdog lowing up their competition. There was great play calling, clock management and defense in this game. GO IRISH!

Caught up on American Horror Story: Asylum. There is some great stuff in this show.

Finally had some Halloween fun, onion rings, waffle fries and adult beverages!

Sunday

PANCAKES!!!!!!!!!!! BACON!!!!!!!! Is there any better breakfast?
See Notre Dame move up to 3rd in the B.C.S. poll. I doubt they break the top two, but they are getting noticed and playing outstanding!

Watched the two early N.F.L. games and they were great! Well, unless you are a Panthers or Cowboys fan. Still they were two very exciting games.

"Missed it by that much."

Seeing Denver beatdown New Orleans was fantastic! They really looked to be have their offense together and hopefully it will continue through the next 8+ weeks. They also start the easier part of their schedule against some losing record teams and should, unless there is some injury or fluke, defeat the lot of them.

Then there was the Walking Dead. The last three minutes solidified my hope that they are not going to botch this season. This is a favorite story arc of mine, and last nite the show delivered!
Welcome to Woodbury....or 57 channels and nothin' on.

A new episode of the Venture Brothers! Not the best episode.....but some classic Venture events and various nobs to numerous pop culture as always. A nice taste of things to come in the next season.
Demonic toast summoning cenobite. One of my favorite parts!
Was it Doug Bradley or just a really strong sound-a-like?

A good couple of days!

  1. Sounds like an awesome weekend. This time it doesn't seem like anything was missing to make it perfect.
