The Vargard's Duty!

Finished my Vargard Obyron model. I like the model due to the simple pose. I really isn't battle action Obyron, but a battle pensive Obyron.

Sometimes the Internet gives me a happy!

Like a Game o' Thrones parody ad.

5 Immortals with Tesla

I grabbed a Immortal/Deathmark box and got to work getting those bad boys together. I figured a squad of 5 Immortals with tesla guns would be good to have.

Watched a game of 6th 40K

Tuesday night I watched my first game of 6th edition 40K. It didn't look too awful either. It was a casual game of Guard vs. Tyranids at 1500 points. It was a diagonal set-up with 4 objectives of the random mystery variety.

What did I glean from this game? Well.............

Dark Knight Rises

Everyone and their sister has a in depth review of this movie. I'll hit my high points and all that.

A quick rundown of the events………….It has been eight years since the events of the last film. Gotham is like 99% crime free somehow. Batman is “retired” and crippled up as well. All is super in Gotham and then Bane shows up to finish the events of the first film. Then some stuff happens to all the involved parties. There is also a “twist” or an attempt at one (if you know Batman stuff or just watched the animated series, you can guess this ahead of time). Oh yeah, there is a female cat burglar in the movie too.

Non Illuminor Szeras finished

A great model, poor material and pants on head rules. It must be Illuminor Szeras!

After a not so pleasant Finecast experience, My non-Szeras Necron guy is done. I'm not sure what he'll be, probably a random Cryptek or Overlord if I'm bored.

The merc with a mouth gets a game?

This popped up at Comic Con and  I missed it. Until now..........
