Well we had a good run humanity!

Here is another year gone and the good times that were had. Now we enter the last year of humanity and possibly planet Earth. We had a good run and sometime within the coming year it looks to end. All because of this.......

Stoopid Mayans and there calendar of foretelling doom!

I'm not sure how the "world" will end, but here are a few guesses......

Meteor strike that causes an extinction event. Easy to think of, but lame right?  Maybe just a comet will pass by like Maximum Overdrive or Night of the Comet and get us all killed off. A real bit of been there and done that already.

The Elder Gods awaken and are really pissed off! Well possible, but predictable and a bit passe.

Some crazy dictator starts a global nuclear armageddon. Well that is becoming less possible since the really good crazy ones keep dying.

Yeah we all kind of want this scenario to be our extinction event don't we? Seriously it is really popular right now, so why not go out with a horde of brain eaters leading the way?

The fossil fuel situation could come to a head and then add the crazy dictator/ global armageddon scenario and then we get this..............
A whole lot of awesome! A personal favorite of mine and rightfully so. The hardest problem would be whether to wear shoulder pads and ass-less pants or 80's hockey gear while facing the end of humanity.

I'm guessing something along the lines of, " the Rand Corporation, in conjunction with the saucer people, under the supervision of the reverse vampires, are forcing our parents to go to bed early in a fiendish plot to eliminate the meal of dinner," and possibly the world.

"We’re through the looking glass here, people…"

Whatever wipes us out  this year, we had a good run at this humanity thing. Maybe there will be enough left to start again after whatever happens in 2012 happens. Until then have a great New Year's Eve and 2012!
