Looking pretty good at my house, in terms of models and such. I am done with all my major build and paint projects, that I wanted to finish prior to 2012. I am now in maintenance mode. That means I am waiting a weekend of flocking and am painting unfinished models.
I have no major need to start a new 40K army, so I am just touching up old stuff, painting models I never started, looking at doing some terrain for a while and also looking to move some stuff to E-bay. It is a pretty nice place to be in at the moment.
G.W.-wise the Necrons have been out a month and have already been forgotten for the most part. Everyone has decided they have one or two army builds, they aren't Marines and have started rumoring on ahead to the next army. This is fairly typical from the gaming community. Hello and good bye Necrons. We barley knew you, because Tau/Black Templars/Chaos and or Eldar are next and must be discussed ad nauseum.
Gaming has me at a fork on Skyrim. I am either going to finish the main storyline, or should I delve into the non-fighters fighters guild? I have become the countryside's Arch Mage, a major player within the Stormclaws, a member of the Dark Brotherhood and a slayer of many many Dragons (still my FAVORITE part of the game). I should probably get to the main story sometime soon.....or should I just rid the area of more of those upstart bandits and Forsaken?
T.V has many shows getting ready to go on hiatus for the holidays until Feb sweeps. The Walking Dead had on of it's better episodes as their mid-season finale. I am getting better at turning off the Comicbook Nazi when it comes to this show.
Hell on Wheels, also on AMC, is a descent revenge story, of which I am a fan. It is set against the post Civil War building of the Trans Continental railroad. If it goes more than a season or so it might get stale, but for now it is pretty descent. Plus it has the Swede and he is just a great unlikable yet likable bad guy. It must be the Toki/Skwisgaar accent he has.
Chardeemacdennis is the game of games and Thunder Gun Express is the best movie yet to be made!
