4 weeks and a finale

As it goes all good things, and it has.

The series finale of Breaking Bad was as good as the rest of the series. The final episode delivered a great end to a fantastic series. The few loose ends were tied, there was no wiggle room, it did not leave me wanting and there are no real lingering questions to answer/argue.

Chaos review #24 the holy man?

Well look who has evil Chaplains now. The forces of Chaos now have Dark Apostles and they are twisted versions of their loyalist brothers. I am glad to see these guys in the codex as they make for some great modeling and army opportunities.

What they wanted for the look of this model.

Truth!

The Warhammer Fantasy comes out with incredible work like this!

The 40K people come out with this..........

Steam

I have begun to dabble with Steam. I can say it intrigues me. The amount of games there is insane! The ability to just download and play is just as awesome, and dangerous. Having a library of games just a click away could be very detrimental for me. Right now I am only dealing with two, but I have seen several more I would like to try.

I’m looking at you Space Hulk!

Shadowrun Returns and Borderlands 2 (thanx for the wonderful gift of giant game o’ guns) are currently in motion. I’ll see how far they take me before I complete them or get frustrated and walk away

Not sure I like this idea, but....

On the heels of the 3rd wave of X-Wing models comes this box. The Empire has ace pilots and they are Tie Interceptors.

Chaos review #23 the mechanic

The traitorous Chaos Marines finally, have the ability to take a Techmarine now. It is about damn time too. There are a few minor differences between the two, but they are essentially the same. They are 40K versions of Doc Ock that have good armor and like to tinker with machinery.

Void Stalker review

The final chapter of the Night Lord series has been finished, at it is awesome! The book is just great from start to finish.

Void Stalker is the final tale of Talos and the 10th Company Night Lords. This group has been on the move since the end of Blood ReaverTalos has had a reoccurring vision of the Eldar killing everyone in the 10th and he is running from it. He is also bound and determined to make his mark against the Imperium as well. Then add in the fact his body is rejecting his geneseed, the petty problems within the 10th and the love/hate relationship he has with all the Night Lords in the galaxy. This all makes for a trying time for Talos. His solution? He decides to go on vacation.

"I'm not a number! I'm a free man!"

I cut my metal teeth on Iron Maiden. I had the chance to see them once and it was just an awful experience as they played only their new album. It crushed me.

However my band of brothers had gone to see the current Maiden England tour as promised it was good.
Last night in St Louis I had my chance to see it with them. It did not disappoint!

"One down... Three down. You see where I'm going with this?"

We saw the third installment of the Riddick movies last night and it was a delight! It was a must for both of us as we both get a mean-on for Riddick.

Week one begins!

Football season has started! High School and College are underway and Thursday was the 1st NFL game of the season. By the gods I love this time of year!

Tonight the season kicks off with the Ravens vs. the Broncos. Hot damn! First game of the season in prime time on the main stage. How excited am I? Very is the answer!

A second year with Peyton manning as QB is always welcome and hopefully he stays healthy. Hopefully, he can lead the Denver offense on many many scoring drives. This is always a want, but for a while it may also be a need. The loss of Elvis to the Ravens, Von is out for six weeks and Champ Bailey is out this week (and hopefully not more) weaken the hell out of the defense.  Is there a solution to this?

YES!  Denver just needs to score 40+ and make a few defensive stops and it should not be an issue!

Whatever happens (Broncos victory hopefully) the NFL is back and I'm a happy piggy for the next 20 weeks!

A dwarven holiday

Over the three day weekend we hit the scenic land of southern Indiana. Why there? Well there are some great caves to explore, and being a dwarf at heart I want to explore them all.

All these pictures were taken at Squire Boone's cavern. He was the the brother to the ever more famous Daniel Boone. I had no idea since I have little knowledge of the Daniel Boone stuff. I was just wanting to go cave 'sploring and this was a place to go do that. I got to see a cool cave and learn some history too!

HOORAY FOR EDUCATION!

Chaos review #22- the big HQ

When you appease the Chaos powers sometimes they grant you a chance to become a big ole monster. This is the quick version of how to become a Demon Prince. These guys have been around for a bit and they are very similar to their previous incarnation.
