Well look at this odd fellow. The Wold Wyrd is part laser
gun, part rock monster, part tree and looks like a non-edible jumbo shrimp.
Not a lot of flash and flair here. This is really just a
fancy rock on a stick. A little grey and some various browns and the majority of
this guy is done. Add a few light washes and he is ready to go shoot lasers on
the tabletop.
I had to fight the urge to paint a giant human eye on the
front of this guy. That would have been just too creepy. Instead I just went
with the mix of greens. I think it needs a bit of varnish to shine up the
central non-eyeball/ sphere a bit.
