Archer is back on the air! If you are not
watching this show you..........
1. have never heard of it
2. don't know it is was back on
3. don't watch the show, and in that
case.......you are a heretic and need to be dealt with
One of the better FX series and it is running for
another season. It will give my Thursday nights a bit of meaning and laughter fir the next
few months.
Speaking of FX, the second season of American
Horror Story has ended. I was super excited for this season. The first season
was great! Another year could not disappoint, but by the time it was over, it
did. A show that started with a Nazi doctor trying to make super humans, a loony
bind, a flesh wearing serial killer and demonic possession all in one tale had
me very interested. How could it not? Then there was an alien abduction thing,
the Nazi super human story went nowhere, the demonic possession was very
underwhelming, the serial killer went from creepy to forgettable, too many bad
Boston accents that came and went, some angel of death thing and a story that
was just too disjointed.
The only real saving grace was Ian McShane's
deranged Satan killing story that was just a one off, but was really fun! There
has been a third season ordered, but barring some great reviews from peers, I'll
pass on it. The first season was fantastic, but this second season became a
mess. The stories all ended poorly, to sudden, or anticlimactically.
A really big shame since I loved the first season and had high
hopes for the second season.
While on the topic of FX network, where did
Unsupervised go? This is another great show they have, and it appeared this year
for a few weeks and is now gone. Where did it go?

This show has had zero advertisement this year, being upstaged by the Justified and whatever the Americans show is. Hey FX don't shit all over Unsupervised! It is a really funny show and people that are awesome watch it. The rest are busy wankin' over Anarchy Sons, the Justified and whatever Charlie Sheen is doing on the network.
